Luminescent Properties of Doxycycline in the Presence of Silver Nanoparticles Modified by Ions of Europe

Fluorescence spectroscopy is a routine tool for studying cellular and molecular visualization, flow cytometry, medical diagnosis, forensic medical examination, genetic analysis, and also an analytical method. However, most available organic dyes used to produce an optical signal have a number of important limitations, such as hydrophobicity, low quantum yield, and low photostability.

Fluorimetric Determination of Pefloxacin in Pharmaceutical Preparation

It is shown that pefloxacin forms a terbium complexes in neutral and mildly acidic conditions which are characterized by energy transfer. It is found that the micellar surfactant medium energy transfer efficiency increases. The maximum increase sensitized fluorescence intensity is observed in the presence of SDS micelles. A fluorimetric method for determination of pefloxacin in the drug was developed.

Synthesis and Luminescence Studies of Terbium Complex with 2,6-dibenzylidenecyclohexanone

Novel complex of terbium (III) with aromatic monoketone – 2,6-dibenzylidenecyclohexanone – has been synthesized. Its uncharacteristic luminescent properties have been studied using quantum chemical calculations and lumiscent spectroscopy.
